At the Universidad Católica de Valencia San Vicente Mártir, the Director of Geopolitics and Strategy, Roberto Gravili, delivered a session within the MBA program focused on personal development and leadership in the context of the “sixth era” — a new global paradigm defined by constant and profound change.

The session introduced key frameworks such as the Cynefin Framework to understand different leadership styles, while also addressing major global transformations across political, social, economic, technological, environmental, and cultural dimensions. Participants explored the historical evolution of the paradigms that have shaped human progress, leading to today’s technology-driven era. In this context, the concept of the Black Swan Theory was highlighted, emphasizing the need for adaptability in the face of highly unpredictable, high-impact events.

In addition, the session focused on three essential pillars of impactful leadership: purpose-driven leadership, which aligns teams around a meaningful mission; the Golden Circle by Simon Sinek, which underscores the importance of starting with “why”; and transformational leadership, centered on inspiring change, fostering growth, and empowering teams.

Overall, the sessions reinforced that effective leadership today goes beyond task management — it requires vision, adaptability, and the ability to inspire others in an increasingly complex and evolving global landscape.
